When local commercial real estate powerhouse Boyle and multifamily developer Northwood Ravin were looking to build their design team during planning for McEwen Northside, they turned to 906 Studio Architects + Interiors. Armed with a multi-disciplinary expertise and a deep local knowledge, 906 Studio was perfectly positioned to help craft the new live-work-play community that has set the standard for mixed-use communities in the region.

As part of a team that included civil engineer Kimley-Horn, landscape architects and planners KVD and a variety of others, 906 Studio was proud to be a part of the multi-year transformative effort. They led the design team for two large multifamily buildings that totaled over 400 rentable units as well as for the Jeni’s Ice Cream and Vintage Vine 100 (with an amazing rooftop space!) that frame the central community green.

This thoughtfully planned, walkable development has quickly become one of the most vibrant hubs in Cool Springs — a place where people can work, dine, shop, and connect, all within a beautifully designed mixed-use environment.

Located in the heart of Franklin’s thriving Cool Springs district, McEwen Northside was intentionally crafted to bring the feel of an urban, pedestrian friendly district to a dynamic and fast-growing community. With modern architecture, curated amenities, and seamless integration of workplaces, residences, and experiences, it’s a benchmark for mixed-use development in Middle Tennessee that Boyle has begun using as their standard for commercial development.
